Gone Fishin’

The grandkids are having a great summer. Here the spotlight is on the boys creating some good memories and, hopefully, some BIG fish stories.

Silas fishing from the “Party Barge” on the bay.

Below – great catch (on the ocean)

Below, during a Zoom meeting, Robb shared his screen with us and showed these photos of the boys out fishing on a Northern California lake.

Although they didn’t catch anything and Robb spent most of the trip untangling fishing line, Kando seemed happy playing with this worm.

And Alo makes a good captain.

Looks like a whopper’s getting loose below.

Maya didn’t go fishing, but she sure knows how to eat s’mores! How easy (& cute) it is to get melted marshmallow all over your face!

Above and below – two sets of cuties! Robb does a great job cutting the boys’ hair.

Zooming with Kando, Alo, Grover, Ernie and Robb.

Everyone was happy when Big Bird (upper left-hand corner, below) arrived at the Zoom meeting.

Our grandsons aren’t the only ones going fishing. Last week while walking the dogs at Shelter Island, we stumbled on this gem of a video opportunity. Even the Navy Seals in the background were taking pictures! I had to take a double take and pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t in India. If you don’t see the start button for this video, you may have to click on the picture. Appropriate for all ages.

I have a lot more photos to share – more grandkids, more boating, more camping, more fun, baby doves and more – next time!
