Above, Alo chews on his foot while out on our walk. He will indeed make a good yogi! Would you like some peanut butter with that toe jam???
Having fun at OB park.
More selfies…
And playing in the big playpen…
Mom left a comment to the blog I posted yesterday if anyone would like to see what she’s up to.

Hogan came out of hibernation last week and has been enjoying the sunshine and romaine.
Friday morning Maya went with Amma & Pappa to get coffee.
I took Alo for a walk in the afternoon and we ran into part of the Cordner Clan.
Alo happy & content in the stroller.
The rocking chair we bought along the way.
Lastly, Maya two Fridays ago. What happens with Amma & Pappa stays with Amma & Pappa …
Lots more pictures to share as the week goes by.

Had a busy day teaching 2 classes in La Mesa yesterday. Today will also be busy. A little time with Maya this morning, a late morning massage, then Alo this afternoon.
Above, Maya in the car seat with the bear she picked out of the Beanie Baby bag on our way for coffee (hot/warm chocolate & banana)!

This is the birdbeehouse that got carted away yesterday, and will most likely never return. My post was wrong yesterday. It wasn’t a birdhouse in the tree. It’s one that stands on a post. This picture was taken by Scott on his side of the fence. I asked him to send it to me so I knew exactly which birdhouse he was talking about. When I called Cindy, she told me another neighbor had come over the same night Scott called me and told her about the bees. Your beloved birdhouse is gone forever …
Now, on to things that really matter …
Alo yesterday morning with his mommy at the park.
And then again in the afternoon with his daddy & the OBYoga water bottle. I think this one will make it to my website.
I can’t leave Maya out. Here’s a picture I took of her a couple weeks ago after she got out of the pool at her swim class.

I took yesterday afternoon off to spend a few hours with Alo. After he took a short nap, we played in the BIG playpen.
He sits up so strongly by himself now.
Then we went outside to get some fresh air and watch airplanes go by, where we took some selfies…
He liked that a lot, except for the part when I took my phone away…
Messages to Mom:
According to your favorite neighbor, Scott, there’s a bee hive/swarm in a bird house in the tree just on your side of the property. He said he has a bee guy and will take care of it and asked for permission. I talked to Bruce and we decided to tell him to go ahead with it. I’ll let Cindi know.
**UPDATE** Just got this all taken care of. Cindi has been informed. Scott arranged to have the bee guy there today at 6:45pm. The only problem with this is that most likely you will never see that particular bird house again. It will need to be removed from the property and dissected (dismantled) to remove all the “bee stuff” inside. But the good news is that some innocent person walking by and stopping to admire your beautiful yard won’t be swarmed to death.
Also, Maria said she won’t be able to clean your house just before you return. To stay on schedule, she will be there the Tuesday following your return, which I think is only a couple days later.

This sign is posted next to the pool at the hotel where I’m staying. I was wondering … if I want to go for a swim, do you think I’d have to sign a waiver?
Single Post for the Weekend –
The hotel where I’m staying in Beverly Hills, the Beverly Laurel Hotel, is kinda cheesy – you have to pay for internet, they don’t have coffee makers in the rooms & they don’t have room service. I wanted a glass of wine, so with iPad and earbuds in tow, I walked down to a cute little corner diner right next door & I’m having a glass of wine while posting
Yesterday I got an award for working at PMB for 10 years. They had a party so I thought I should attend. Good thing I did because food was catered by Chipotle and it was really good, AND there was cake!
Afterwards I went home and Akuch was just finishing up feeding Alo. She wasn’t gone 10 minutes before he fell asleep in my arms.
He passed out, but only for about 35 minutes.
Then we went for a walk. I think Alo wants to be a lifeguard when he grows up.
That’s when Alo thought maybe he’d rather work in sea life rescue.
One more photo before we headed back up the hill.
Lastly, Maya reading with Pappa.
Pappa took Maya to the Zoo Friday morning and took lots of pictures of her with the goats at the petting corral. Perhaps one day he’ll share those with me so I can share them on my blog… ???
Hopefully that was enough pictures to make up for only one post over the weekend.
