Alo at the park – Special Monday Evening Edition

The picture above is an animation Robb sent me. Click on it and another window will open where you’ll see the animation. It’s pretty cool. I’ll need to learn how he did that. Robb’s a lot better with this stuff than I am.

Below are some stills. This boy’s going to be crawling soon!

Alo spent a few hours with me. Here are a couple videos of what he was up to.

Yesterday afternoon, Maya at swim.

I have more swim videos, but the files are too large to add to my blog. I’ll upload to YouTube and will post the link tomorrow.

JOY

Although I had to work and didn’t get to spend time with the grandkids, I experienced great JOY to have these pictures texted to me.

Bruce & Maya at the beach.

When I got home from work, I sat with Alo for a little while. He was doing some “tummy time” on my lap and before I knew it, he had scooted & pushed with his feet and legs until he was completely off my lap. I patted his little bottom lightly and the next thing I knew, he passed out.

So precious, and we are so blessed to have these little people in our lives.

Alo & the Super Bowl; Maya & the Beach

Robb & Alo came over and watched the second half of the Super Bowl with us yesterday, and Alo proved that he does, indeed, contrary to my attempts, take his mom’s milk from a bottle.

He sucked that thing down. I think the trick is that he has to be really hungry – really REALLY hungry.

There’s not much to say about the Super Bowl except I figured Denver would win, and none of my squares won, which means the grandkids were losers. I think the game was over at that first-play safety. Pitiful.

Here’s Maya and Papa at the beach last Friday.

We’ll have our hands full, as well as a lot of fun, when Alo is a little older!

Parallels

While I was heading out the door to take the dogs for a walk this morning, my friend, Lynn, in North Carolina texted me that she was heading out to walk her dogs, and sent these pictures.

It’s not as cold here, but the sky as I headed up and over the hill was beautiful! I wonder if the people in North Carolina know that trees are supposed to have leaves on them???

Annie wanted to play too. Ok, well, really… she wanted the toy.

I guess I got busy yesterday and by the time I thought to blog, it was too late.
