I dropped in later yesterday to visit Sparty’s family.

Jen proves it can be done – carrying 2 kids at one time.

And Maya succeeds in stuffing the pacifier in the baby’s mouth all by herself.

Happy Cinco de Mayo

Today’s the BIG day. Maya arrives at Pappa & Amma’s.

& has breakfast.

All in anticipation of her NEW BABY BROTHER!!! Bruce picked Maya up at 6am and Jen & Ron headed off to the hospital. We’re going to the ZOO this morning, Alo joins Maya this afternoon, and Maya has swim. Sometime during all this excitement Sparty will enter the world.

Three Days a Blog

I’m in a workshop this weekend, so I’m turning this post into a 3-dayer. If I’m able to post tomorrow, I will. If not, this will have to hold you over until Monday

Little Maya and Jen spent the night last night. The cabinet guys were at their house making noise & Maya needed sleep. This morning playing with the toys from under the stairs (she knows where everything is…).

Today Robb & Akuch are dropping Alo off at 2. We’re going to babysit while they go to Jud’s wedding. We met Jud at Robb’s UCSD orientation lunch, so I think that makes him Robb’s oldest “college friend.” I’ll get home from my workshop around 3:30, so we’ll get to spend some fun time with Alo.

Music, Maya & Alo

Alo attended his first music lesson yesterday. This isn’t the typical music class. It’s a class where kids (babies in this case) and their moms or dads, grandparent(s) or nannies sit and sing, bang on drums and other interesting objects, to the beat of whatever song Miss April is singing. Bruce went with Akuch & Alo and took these pictures.
