Yesterday we had Alo and Maya.
One word Maya uses frequently … “Mine.” But hey, she let him use one piece of the puzzle.
But she’s working on that. She actually does really well, and the two of them play quite nicely together. It’s a lot of fun being involved with them and watching them grow.
It looks like Sparty is going to keep those blue eyes!

We started the afternoon playing, as usual. We’ve got quite the collection of toys.
Then time for a little nap.
He only slept for about 20 minutes, but still showed signs of being very tired – fussy and wanting to cling to me, so we cuddled a little while and he fell asleep on my lap again, and that little nap turned into a long nap. I guess he really was tired!
I have a busy weekend ahead of me.

I’m not a huge fan of bougainvillea, but last week on one of my walks, I passed this beautifully blooming hedge. I’m sure it won’t be so beautiful when someone is having to clean up the mess when the flowers all fall off, but in the meantime, I certainly enjoyed them.

Num Num – chicken enchilada with pinto beans and rice. It was so good, Maya had seconds!
Num Num – some sort of organic mixture of apples, mango & vege (I think).
After banging on drums and other musical instruments, & hopping, running & dancing in music class in the morning then a big lunch, Maya passed out cold in my arms.
This afternoon – Alo! He’s got music class this morning, so maybe he’ll take a nice nap for me and hopefully a walk to OB and the OB Park for some playground fun. It’s looking like a beautiful day!
I saw the baby yesterday but left my phone in the car, so no baby pictures today. I can tell you though … he was still as cute as ever.
