Alo with Papa Bill.

Big eyes, pouty lip & a fuzzy top.

And a very busy, active & strong boy!
What fun!

Robb & Alo came over and watched the second half of the Super Bowl with us yesterday, and Alo proved that he does, indeed, contrary to my attempts, take his mom’s milk from a bottle.

He sucked that thing down. I think the trick is that he has to be really hungry – really REALLY hungry.
There’s not much to say about the Super Bowl except I figured Denver would win, and none of my squares won, which means the grandkids were losers. I think the game was over at that first-play safety. Pitiful.
Here’s Maya and Papa at the beach last Friday.
We’ll have our hands full, as well as a lot of fun, when Alo is a little older!

While I was heading out the door to take the dogs for a walk this morning, my friend, Lynn, in North Carolina texted me that she was heading out to walk her dogs, and sent these pictures.

It’s not as cold here, but the sky as I headed up and over the hill was beautiful! I wonder if the people in North Carolina know that trees are supposed to have leaves on them???

Alo was being a little fussy …

Annie wanted to play too. Ok, well, really… she wanted the toy.

I guess I got busy yesterday and by the time I thought to blog, it was too late.

It’s with sadness that I have to report that Animal was put to rest yesterday. She had been sick a couple days as a result of kidney failure. After many tests it was determined she would have to be put down. Beverley became quite attached to her in the short year and a half, and this hasn’t been easy for her. Thanks to Beverley for giving Animal a good home.
On another note, I paid a visit to Maya yesterday, and kept an eye on her for a short time in the back yard while her mom got a couple things done in the house.
First we checked to see how the office is coming along.
Then we played in the princess tent.
And took a break to sit and drink Amma’s water.

I really liked it when she dropped my water bottle nozzle down into the dirt … Yuck.
