Robb decides to feed Alo before taking him to explore OB after Papa babysits.

& Maya, hard at work once again …

The pinatas.

The craziness …
It makes me tired just watching that!
Maya and Amma on the trampoline.

Not surprisingly, Maya passed out on the way home.

And I woke up late, tired and sore from all the trampolining.
The party was a great success!
Robb, Akuch and Alo stopped at the house on the way to the party.
It is so good to be home!!

Teacher training workshop completed. It was a lot of work, but great. They don’t call it an intensive for nuthin!
We got done early yesterday, so Lynn and I took the Metro (which stops right across the street from our motel) downtown. We started off at the Asian Art Museum, and from there walked to the Wharf where we ate dinner at a little Mexican restaurant, similar to Wahoo’s, and caught the Metro back home.
The picture above is of the front of the museum.
Here are some pictures I took during our outing.

Up at 3am this morning to catch my flight home.
Alo and Maya courtesy of Bruce …

Alo looks like he’s getting ready to crawl away.

DND – Studying for his next big final …

Above – another photo of Alo taken from Akuch’s FB (6 months old)!!
Below are some pictures of the interior of the yoga studio where I’m doing my training – people setting up for lecture.

The pictures of Guruji below on various walls. Some of the photos have glass frames, so there is a glare.
Although yesterday was a “short” day, I didn’t do anything exciting. Recovering and resting is important here. Tomorrow we’re done at 10:30. That’ll be the end of the workshop, and I plan on “living it up” by going to the Asian Art Museum where there’s a collection of Indian Yoga artifacts. If you’d like a preview, look here:

I’m still heavy in workshop & haven’t had any spare time to get out and see the sights. The picture above is of a character on a street post about 2 blocks from the motel where I’m staying.
It rained most of yesterday, but that didn’t affect me since I was inside & could only hear the pitter patter on the sky window in the yoga a studio.
Below is a photo of Alo I got off Facebook that Akuch posted.

She said that Alo’s learned that he can fake cough now to get attention.
Here’s a picture Morgan posted of the twins.

And lastly… Bruce sent me this video of Alo playing with one of the new shaker toys we got for the kids to play with at the house.

I got an email yesterday from Alison. We donated to her cause – the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb. Because “breathing shouldn’t be an uphill climb,” their team (the Mendota Heights Fire Department) climbed 31 floors of 680 stairs, and raised $1500 for ALA!
Alison’s time going up the stairs was 11:11! Dan (carrying 60 pounds of fire gear) finished the uphill in 17:31!!
They plan on going up again next year with new goals – Alison hoping to do 10 minutes or less, and Dan’s goal is under 15 minutes.
Here are pictures Alison sent.

Alison is second from left and Dan is third from right.

Way to go, Alison & Dan!! Good job!
On another accomplishment… word has it that Sparty’s room has been painted! Here’s evidence.
Another day in San Francisco and no photos to show for it. 6 hours of workshop and a very tired me. Perhaps I’ll find some spare time and energy today to capture some SF.

Papa took my turn babysitting Alo yesterday.

Alo wasn’t going to smile for Papa, but I do like his skeleton outfit!
More Zoo
What do you call the turtle enclosure at the Zoo?
Why, a “turtletorium,” of course.

San Francisco trip second:
After an hour delay due to the weather, the plane finally took off. Above the storm…
My friend, Lynn, who I met at SF airport.
This is the courtyard at the motel where I’m staying. My room is at the very end.
Looking up at the sky through the tree in front of my room.
I was starving when we arrived, so we walked to this little cafe around the corner.
Then went for a walk to the beach two blocks away.
Storm drain.
Kinda like Venice Beach, but not …
I don’t have a clue what’s up with this …

It was a drizzly (not grizzly…) at the Zoo yesterday. Maya, the toddler in the bubble …
Riding a tortoise.
I’ve got a few more I’ll post in the next few days. I’m sitting at the airport now waiting for my flight to SF for a 7-day Teachers’ Intensive with Manouso Manos. I’m meeting my friend, Lynn, in SF. Her flight from Asheville, NC arrives about 45 minutes after mine. I haven’t seen her in a couple months, so it should be fun.
Bruce, have fun with the little ones, and enjoy Alo this afternoon for me. Take lots of pictures so I can share with everyone.
Oh! & enjoy the rain!! It’s supposed to rain in SF too, but the weather report said So Cal is supposed to get the most of it. Drive safely everyone.

(Baddha = bound; Kona = angle; asana = pose) That’s the “asana” Alo is assuming above. It seems to be his favorite yoga pose. I’ve captured him practicing it before…
And below, a little nap with his friends after playing hard with Amma!
Meanwhile… Maya helps her Uncle Nino with the taping job in the new office.
Nino mixes the mud, while Maya applies it. That’s teamwork!
