Milk Beard

We had Maya and Sparty yesterday from 5pm until a little after 11pm. Robb, Akuch and Alo stopped by for about a half hour, just at the right time – Sparty cried almost the entire time they were here, but he still managed a photo with Auntie Akuch …

There were some “happy times” tho …

Maya was sound asleep in the Pack’n Play when the Sea World fireworks went off and woke her up. From that point on she slept on my lap. This morning Maya Facetime’d me while I was out on my walk & told me how the fireworks scared her.

I woke up this morning absolutely beat (slept in till 7:30!), every bone & muscle in my body aching, every bit of it worth it.

Today – Alo’s birthday party!! I can’t believe he’s a year old already.

Yesterday Alo goes for his first swim. He really enjoyed splashing around on the step while Robb selected his football team.

Sunday morning with Alo

Yesterday we gave Robb a little help watching Alo & moving some stuff to storage. Alo’s getting bolder with his walking, taking more steps every time we see him.

We have so much fun with him. He’s curious and into everything. I’m pretty sure he said “airplane” 2x yesterday. It really sounded like “airp…” but he was looking and pointing at an airplane flying over at the time. Pretty smart.

He’s working on shoveling food into his mouth (with a little help).

And lastly, this orchid is quite happy in the patio. I really enjoy taking a stroll out there & checking out all the new growth, buds & flowers.

Boy in pink & other stuff

There’s really only one boy in pink in this post …

This morning, Maya and Pappa time (& Annie, too).

So cute … This morning Pappa was sitting on the stairs. Maya slid her finger down his knee surgery scar and said “boo boo.” Then she leaned over and kissed it.
