Sparty

Sparty aka Silas Bruce D’Isidoro Thomas was born yesterday, Cinco de Mayo 2014, at a time not yet disclosed by the parents, weighing in at 8 lbs 8.7 oz, and measuring in at 20 inches long. According to his dad, he’s got a nice set of balls on him … Impressive!!

Sparty now has his own category on my blog site, and the blog title has been changed accordingly.

It appears he’s a thumb sucker.

Meanwhile, Maya remains oblivious to it all …

We didn’t get to see Alo yesterday after all, so no Alo pictures today.

Happy Cinco de Mayo

Today’s the BIG day. Maya arrives at Pappa & Amma’s.

& has breakfast.

All in anticipation of her NEW BABY BROTHER!!! Bruce picked Maya up at 6am and Jen & Ron headed off to the hospital. We’re going to the ZOO this morning, Alo joins Maya this afternoon, and Maya has swim. Sometime during all this excitement Sparty will enter the world.

The Girls

Yesterday afternoon sitting on the deck watching for helicopters and planes. It was a beautiful day. No wind. The temperature was neutral. It felt like body temperature. In the shade it was perfect. Maya wasn’t feeling well so it was a good “quiet” activity.
