The ocean this morning

No picture(s) for today (yet), but thought I’d post that this morning on our walk along the cliffs, we saw a whale, land side of the kelp beds, around the foot of Pt. Loma Avenue. It came up several times, spraying each time. There were also several dolphins. It was low tide, and the water was calm & clear. The pigeons & seagulls snacked on corn flakes today. The Twins, Maya & the Zoo

Followed by roast beef sandwiches (& a pickle, of course) from the Olive Tree.

We happened to be in the right place at the right time. Zookeepers walked by with an ocelot they were training on a leash. They stopped for us and we got to see it up close and personal.

At Sunset Cliffs …

Also cool is that the seagulls were eating out of my hand. I’d hold a piece of crust up & they fly in, hover & then take it. We didn’t get that on video, but maybe next time.
