A tired Maya …
And my shoulder is getting stronger every day …
… slowly but surely. This is actually Sirsasana 2. I am working on prep poses for Sirsasana 1, but I’m still a ways away.
Patience.
Since I started my blog about yoga & Maya, I haven’t even really put any yoga pictures up.
And this is Jeff, both in Sirsasana, which means headstand. Both of them can stay in Sirsasana for 5 minutes. At least that’s when I tell them they have to come down!
These are Chris’s feet. He tends to supinate his feet, so I strapped his toes together and told him to try to break the strap. Then I put a small foam block between his feet to prevent the supination. Although it doesn’t look like it, it was very hard work for him.
This is Little Benny Boo Bear, Evan’s nephew, who happens to work at my office, and who also comes to my Thursday lunchtime yoga class. Sometimes he comes by my office & performs what he calls yoga. I wonder about that …
This is one of my new rope swings. It is so cool.
This is Mr. Iyengar (aka “Guruji”). He turns 95 this year. He learned yoga from Krishnamacharya, who was his brother in law.
