39 today – I hope it’s a good one!

How fortunate we are to live in this beautiful city!
We Skyped with Robb, Akuch, Alo & Kando last night. They’re doing great, the kids are growing & Akuch is enjoying her new part time job. We’re looking forward to seeing them here in a few weeks.
Tomorrow… Brianna arrives!

It’s great to see both my boys spending so much time nurturing a healthy “father” relationship with their kids. It brings me back to my childhood when my dad spent a great deal of time with us, taking us to the beach, sailing, the zoo, bike riding, motorcycle riding, etc. I have so many fond memories and can see that my grandkids have begun that bank of memories that will be paying back for years to come. How lucky they are.
These two beautiful young beings will be just fine.

Above – (from Ron) cuddles.
I taught Maya how to do a headstand a couple weeks ago. She doesn’t have any trouble popping right up into the pose. It needs a little tweeking, but still quite impressive!

Above & Below – Photos from Robb that he took at Brentwood (Bay Area, not LA) while Akuch was at work.
It’s important to note how happy Alo is with his cherries.
Kando’s having a good time, too …
And it’s also important to see the cherry mess all over Alo’s face (zoom in below).
Because Robb reported that Alo projectile vomited cherries in the car on the way home. Hmmm. Perhaps a limit to the amount of cherries one eats?? Hahaha
New photo header of the seal taken at the bay last weekend. Photo credit goes to Bruce.

Last weekend Ron and the kids stopped by, and perfect timing … The neighbors next door were having a birthday party for their 1-year old complete with a fire truck converted to a wood fired pizza oven and delivery truck.
These neighbors have a hatch in their deck that leads down to the ground level, same as our deck. Of course Ron & the kids had to try it out.
We’ve got our own tractor. The City is doing road work and we’ve been stuck with this eye sore for the past month. I think it’ll be another month (at least) before it’s gone.
Sparty and Maya before the bubbles got out of hand. Sparts doesn’t like when I turn the air bubbles on so I had to wait for him to be done before going bubble wild.
