Is it December Already?

If you ask Jamie it is. This is what it would look like if you were to live in Worley, Idaho about now …Not an “only in OB” moment … Texting while walking your dog is quite fashionable in Clairemont. While back at the house there’s nothing more fun than wearing your dirty panties on your head. And holding daddy’s screw gun while in your leotard is not only random but also fashionable.Last and certainly not least … A very special happy birthday to my oldest & much older friend across the globe. I hope your “prezzie” (which you said should be really special because you’re older than I am) makes it to you in time. Love & hugs.

OB Holiday Parade

Meanwhile, on a hike up north, Alo finds horse poop! Poop of any kind is always a good find.
Alo and Kando bundled up at the base of Mt. Diablo.Even farther north and colder still, Omar and Brianna find a tree.I think this is Bobby. In Idaho for a $5 fee you can go out and cut your own tree down.

All Tuckered Out

Above – Group photo at Miguel’s with two very tuckered out little ones.

Below – Must be jet lag …Not long after that …Last evening – a birthday Skype with Robb and the boys …Adho Mukha Svanasana aka Downward Facing Dog pose.

I took many photos to get only a couple with the boys still enough to not be a blur. Alo and Kando are very busy boys.

The Boys & Krispy Kreme

Above & below – Photos from Robb at Ardenwood Historic Farm a couple weekends ago.

Love the tractor photos!Wooly sheep.Pumping the well.

Meanwhile, craziness abounds. Jamie’s in town again and yesterday we took a trip to get some Krispy Kremes.

Ron got a little carried away with the powdered sugar.

Jamie bought 2 dozen donuts. I ate ONE. Bruce ate none. There are two left. Someone ate 3 on the way home in the back seat of my car …

and then passed out on Grandma’s couch.

Someone else ate two donuts on the way home, one at Grandma’s and a FOURTH when we got home …You can run but you cannot hide …This morning …In case you’ve lost count, that’s five so far for Jamie.

And then tonight after a healthy dinner of chicken soup I made …Cheers…

Fisherman’s Wharf

Above – Robb, Kando, Alo and me taking a maritime tour on an old ship at Hyde Street Pier.

When Robb picked me up from my flat this afternoon both kids were passed out in the back seat.

We drove to Fisherman’s Wharf and walked around Hyde Street Pier and the Ghirardelli building. It rained most of the day but the weather broke for short periods.

There were people swimming in the bay. Several of them. Without wetsuits. Yikes! The boat in the background in the photo below and the two photos that follow is the old SF Bay ferry used before the Golden Gate Bridge was built.

Ahrrrr … Sorry this photo turned out a bit dark. It’s a beautiful waterfall with mermaids.

This was a short visit and I’m glad I was able to spend some time with the boys even if it was for just a few hours. I’ll be back in SD in a matter of hours where I’m hoping it’ll be dry and warm.

Have I mentioned how much I love San Francisco and the Bay Area? Part of that I’m sure has to do with having loved ones here but it truly is a beautiful area. Yoga aside, there is so much to do here and as heavily populated as it is, nature is abundant. Every time I visit I experience something different and leave with precious memories.

Bees!

Above – Another photo of new bikes at Liberty Station.

A couple weeks ago Ron took the kids to see “The Bees,” literally! He’s got a friend who’s a bee keeper who allowed the kids an up close and personal look into bee keeping.

This kiddo loves bugs. Don’t worry, it’s a male bee. Males don’t have stingers.  This one on the other hand forced a pretty good smile considering she’s not as fond as her little friend. Can you tell?Hogan is pretty confused with this weather and is keeping himself out of the shade as much as possible these days. I believe it’s going to be a shorter than usual hibernation this year.

Morgan sent me this photo of JR from the Chargers game Sunday. I can’t believe how big & handsome he’s getting. Watch out ladies!!Blogged on Amma’s iPhone from SF with LOVE!

Super Moon

In case you missed this, according to 10 News online:

“On Monday morning at 6:15 a.m. EST, the moon will reach its perigee, or closest point to Earth, measuring a distance of 221,524 miles away — the closest it’s been since Jan. 26, 1948. The moon was even closer to Earth in January 1912 and January 1930.

The moon officially becomes full roughly two and a half hours later, making this a supermoon and the closest one in 68 years.”

I took this photo at 6am PST so it was already moving away and shrinking.
