This kid just keeps getting smarter every day. This morning he was playing with his car and I said “wheel.” He looked at me and watched me very closely as I said the word several times. Then he said “wheel” and pointed to the wheel. Then Pappa was watering in the front yard while Alo watched from the window and said “wassat?” I said “water.” I said it a number of times and then he said “wah” that soon turned into “water.” Seriously. It amazes me how he can hear a sound, look and see how the mouth forms and then repeat the word. I’ve never seen anything like it with a little one this young.<\/p>\n
