Bruce and I have taken on the property management of my mom’s Cape May properties. Bruce is installing new mailboxes for three of the units, and hired a handyman to pour some concrete where the mailboxes will be in between the two front houses. Evidently yesterday the handyman poured the concrete and then left for a while to wait for it to set before going back to finish it. Bruce told me he got a call later from the handyman …<\/p>\n

“There’s a problem.” <\/p>\n

“What kind of problem?” <\/p>\n

“There’re footprints in the concrete.” <\/p>\n

“Can you fix it?” <\/p>\n

“Yes, but there’s still a problem.” <\/p>\n

“What kind of problem?” <\/p>\n

“You’ll have to call the tenants. The footprints are small.” <\/p>\n

At this point in the story, I burst out laughing. Bruce called Morgan to see if the kids were home. JR was. I can just picture him happily skipping home from school, turning to come down the walkway and his excitement in seeing the wet concrete. I wish I could say I had a picture to show you, but I don’t.<\/p>\n

Now does this look like the face of mischievousness? <\/p>\n
